Treatment Procedures
Dr. Master is trained to provide skilled therapeutic procedures which are non-invasive and effective. These procedures encompass the integration of nerve cell activation and sound nutritional principles.
Nerve Cell Activation via Guided Neuronal PlasticityTM
Dr. Master provides treatment procedures which are designed to encourage what he terms Guided Neuronal Plasticity of weakened or damaged nervous system networks found upon examination. Guided Neuronal PlasticityTM is non-invasive and involves examining the various functions of the nervous system, locating weakened areas, and then activating the pathways so as to promote "guided" growth of the nerve cell connections into stronger nerve cell networks. In general, the
procedures are extremely safe, comfortable, gentle, and without need of prescription drugs or surgery.
Essentially the therapeutic procedures performed by Dr. Master include all sensory and motor-based modalities which are chosen to specifically activate the nervous system. If determined that an individual is a candidate for functional neurological care, then office procedures may include a combination of the following non-invasive procedures:
Neurologically-Based Chiropractic Adjustments
Neurologically-Based Extremity Adjustments
Joint Mobilization Applications
Eye Movement Applications
Neuro-muscular Reeducation
Vibrational Stimulation
Visual Stimulation
Auditory Stimulation
Vestibular Applications
Neuro-muscular and Tendon Applications
Postural and Reflex Applications
Chiropractic neurologists, as functional neurologists, are fully trained to evaluate for the specific application needed to promote enhanced nervous system function for infants, toddlers, teens and adults. In each specific case, all procedures are individualized and designed for optimizing the function of the neurological system.
The primary procedure utilized by chiropractic neurologists for nervous system activation involves precise, neurologically-based, joint and muscle adjustments of the spine and/or extremities as it relates to the identified neurological weakness. Additional procedures are usually provided so to further facilitate brain and nervous system plasticity.
Sound Nutritional Protocols
As a functional neurologist, it is imperative that the nervous system has an adequate supply of fuel. The fuel consists of oxygen and glucose (blood sugar). Through functional blood chemistry analysis, Dr. Master is able to determine if interference of the fuel supply such as an issue with anemia or blood sugar imbalance is outside the functional range, In addition, Dr. Master is also trained to evaluate for functional metabolic imbalances of the immune system and endocrine systems or neurotransmitters which may be an underlying complicating factor to optimal health.
